We are seeking a Detail Oriented and Proactive Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team. As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debts and maintaining accurate financial records. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and resolving client queries.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor the accounts receivable transactions

  • Issue accurate and timely invoices to clients

  • Follow up on outstanding payments via phone and email

  • Reconcile customer accounts and allocate payments

  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation

  • Prepare regular reports on debtor status and ageing analysis

  • Liaise with internal teams to resolve issues affecting payment

  • Support month-end closing and audit processes

  • Prepare regular reports for project specific costings

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar accounts receivable or credit control role

  • Proficiency in accounting software (Xero preferred)

  • Strong Excel and data entry skills

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Relevant qualification in Accounting or Finance (desirable)
